I have elm327 500k usb interface

I have had this happen when I have been updating ipc on the bench and when connected to the MSCAN and at the same time reading MM CAN
Just stop the MM CAN FROM reading at same time....

are you running the IPC updater od the bench or is the IPC in your Car

Make certain every thing is of, only put key to on for convers to come on. Then just try doing a eeprom dump..
if that works ok you should be ok.. as I said only causes we have come across this is when the can bus is extremely busy.

Unselect the main and the extended files. The bottom to leave the bootloader then try eeprom dump

You need an ELS327 cable, it won't work with a ELM327.
