Little off, but..
Can we replace RAM chips with other parts numbers? Not only 46V64M8P?

I use KDLD88P4PAG-53X. Can be found on ddr kingmax 400 module. Last test was at -18C.
Also please use small tip for soldering not hot air.
cheers

Note: i moved your question to a separate topic as it does not directly belong to the question you posted it into. But anyway, a good question as there are now genuine chips on the market anymore and China market only sells fakes or bad quality chips.

Hard to find in Germany. Also no datasheet of the chips to compare timings, etc. Need to select the chips, because of production tolerances some could stand the cold, some not. All consumer RAM chips are not for automotive temp range. Usually they fail unter -10 degree. But it's worth testing...

Helo,
That's why I tested this chips at -18C and unit start ok. Also if the car is not started for more than 3 days it power nicely.
I had a datasheet(lost in transfer), compared and are perfect for swap.
cheers

Unfortunately i could not find ANY datasheet for those kind of chips, so it's impossible to say if any variant is just a different production code or relevant specs.
