FX board freeze and restart constantly

After all i managed to fix some of my FX board having issues, but there is still one left with a strange problem which really puzzles me.

The problem is, that after powering on the device you see the usual PIN code screen but cannot enter any digit. It does not accept any button. After a few seconds the whole system reboots. This goes over and over until it goes into suspend mode (i gues after 3 or 4 restarts).

I've already...

... tested with a different front panel (Display) => no change
... checked the voltages i know => all fine and stable
... put device into Tuareg-Mode (disable radio-processor) => stops restarting but even does not boot the system But from this i think it's a pure software-thing which causes the reset
... reflashed the device with a working firmware => no change

My bet is, that somewhere in the code the OMAP needs to connect to a periphal part which does not respond, or do not initialize as expected, whereas the main firmware never reaches a "ready state", but at least see no other chance than lock down (endless loop, or fatal exception) and will be reset by the RU's watchdog.
