As we know technicalywise the mileage registers can only keep numbers up to 999.999
Had anybody ever tested what happens when you set your mileage to this value and drive on for a km/mile? Shouldn't it rollover to 000.000 again?
That would be the most easiest way to change it to a value you want, as some tools (even Ford itself) can UP the mileage to whatever value...

Backup your EEPROM, set it to 999.999 then drive the car and see what happens
.
If it goes to 000 then try to modify it by OBD with tools than can only increase the mileage.
I've heard discussions about other Ford IC that remained at 999.999.

@sanndo so you tried this out? That was a nice idea from DGAlexandru, but would have been too easy, so developers prevent doing this.
Re: Read and write mileage from IPC (EEPROM)
Yep, I have a friend who come to redo mileage, because he set it to 999999 with forscan trying to set it zero
Re: Read and write mileage from IPC (EEPROM)
What would such testing be good for? Just adjust the values in the eeprom to 0 km and start from scratch. I have already adjusted many clusters this way without using UCDS credits... I have my own eeprom, which I use in cases where it is necessary to adjust the km status...
