How to change ODO offline using Forscan

I want to change a Type 2 cluster odo upwards. Forscan can do this, but only if cluster is connected with the car. I tried to simulate ignition using my CAN sender on MS and HS CAN, but finally could not "connect" the software to enable the programming features, but without success.
Did anybody managed to do it offline?
