The bug was in the functionality of creating new strings in free space.
But there can be other bugs as I did not try it since yesterday...

Hello, the application for translation is done. I have tried uploading translated fw to convers and no restarts after I tried few things.
I have attached the webapp made as standalone (do not mind the filesize) or here is online version http://movinground.org/content/convers-lang/

EDIT: Version 1.0.1 which has little bit more strings like Cruise Control Standby/Active...
EDIT2: Version 1.0.2 with some more missing strings for Time setting
EDIT3: Version 1.0.3 with missing "Long OK = Reset trip odo"
EDIT4: Version 1.0.4 with more grouping of duplicate strings
EDIT5: Version 1.0.5 with missing title strings like Radio - FM, Phonebook, etc.
EDIT6: Version 1.0.6 with searchable select box and attempt to fix reboots when editing other than English strings
EDIT7: Version 1.0.7 with missing string "Parking mode"
EDIT8: Version 1.0.8 with missing string "Menu Control" which is part of the help screen on startup

Great work Syntax!
I have tested your software and I found something. I don't know if I have made something wrong or it is a bug somewhere.
I have the conversmod for FL and it has the color themes named in Russian language (dark, blue, gray, red, green), after I use convers lang to translate the convers don't start anymore, just indicators flashing.
Am I doing something wrong or?

Indicators flashing like it is still in service mode? Did you uploaded 100% of main and flash vbf?
When there is a bug and the translation is bad the convers ends up in bootloop, the display just flashes every few seconds as it tries to start but fails on some exception and reboots...

Yes, I do have uploaded both files generated (main and flash). I use vbf uploader from ucds software and a genuine device.
I will try again now.

After some tryouts I find out that my custom firmware have some issue...
I will try to find the issue and fix it.
I'm new in this "programming field" so it may take a wile.

I found the issue. At the end of firmware was 2 bytes missing FB41D and FB41E (I think CRC). I opened the firmware in HXD and I compared with original fw.
Now the translate works good.
