Good idea. I have done it with hex editor but there we need more space for our words. That might be a good way.

Somebody need to test what happens when the contents of the FGS.DNL file is patched (edited). Of course the last four bytes of the file should contain a valid CRC-32 checksum of the changed data. I would start with changing the update-progress-messages.

As all the text messages the radio can display reside in this fgs.dnl file, we can assume that the OMAP application only sends message-IDs to the graphicsboard instead of full text messages or rendered graphics.

In PL version fw its text mesage longer how in EN version how is it possible? if i want to do slovak translation I need more space for translation, similar to PL version

German language usually has long words. Isn't it good enough?
