Re: Apply custom images to Ford Convers+
Hi all
I think this convershacker 1.3.1 didn't work properly. I mean when you create vbf and write location where must be picture, program put on different place what you write.
Rest looks good.
Thank you DGAlexandru

Hi wiesiow2,
VBF from Save Image as VBF?
In plain text part of VBF, yes, it doesn't change the adress and size, they are allways 0x30120000 and 0x00020000, as this text part it isn't taken into consideration, it is there for information only.
If you are talking about something else, please explain.

OK, found the problem - In the text message I was saying that you need to enter hexadecimal values but I was reading decimal values.

Re: Apply custom images to Ford Convers+
How to replace the image in mine "1122-mFL-flash" file?
Re: Apply custom images to Ford Convers+
I have read this thread maybe hundred times already and I can't understand how to change the logo.
EDIT:
did some progress I put my own graphic for logo (do not judge, it was my first pic from the desktop ). I think I have some problems with checksums.
I used the file with already custom logo in it, it is the same flash file for the same main file I have flashed to my convers. I then changed that logo for my own one but I am not sure where do I have to enter the checksum.
Steps I did:
1. Load photo to IrfanView, change pallete to BGR, save pallete.
2. Open CH, load PAL file, Load photo, encode to RLE, save as BIN (changed the last bytes to point flash offset from original vbf logo) or save as vbf and enter flash offset in the popup and then just extract that logo from vbf.
3. Open original flash vbf with custom logo in CH, check when custom logo starts. 4. Open original flash vbf in HxD, point where logo starts from point 3, insert in that place my own bin file and save. This will work? I can see my logo on CH and it is correct as the original flash file flash offset etc.
