Hello, it is a shame that you used this name when purchasing the product. You got carried away with the name after having the VCM in your hands for repair... You could have used another tool which I think works perfectly with the latest version of the original IDS. The loader is automatic and easy to operate. It has a switch and works like a j2534 or Elm…
The product is called SVCI and this year its renamed version VNCI is already being sold.

However, the website is not working today...

I've returned the device today as it turns out that this VCM clone is just a diagnose device (VXD)
bad_vcm2_clone_one-pcb.jpg
The one needed has two PCBs and much more parts:
vcm2_clone_pcb_top.jpg
vcm2_clone_pcb_btm.jpg
vcm2_clone_extra_pcb_top.jpg
vcm2_clone_extra_pcb_btm.jpg
It's really hard to figure out which one of the offers may be build like the last shown. Most picts only shows the case, no chance to figure out. Some write that they sell a "two pcb version", but who to trust? Chinese market ist not that trustworthy at all...

So it only operates as a J2534 bridge right? I thought those devices are not useable for part programming/swap or key programming, because official docu tells so?

So much for propaganda

but can you confirm that genuine IDS (not patched) works with online access to Ford and it can program PATS von FL vehicle (>2011) ?

No, I definitely wouldn't believe it 100%... I haven't tried programming the keys on newer models.
However, I tested models up to 2010 and everything worked correctly in IDS. After replacing some modules I followed the help in IDS and fitting and initializing the modules was quick and easy...
For newer models, I've only tried diagnostics with suggested repair...
However, my response to your post was different.
This tool works the same as vcm, except that it does not require a complex procedure and a virtual to run.
Just install Loader, which is automatically updatable and also offers IDS updates almost every few days.
It is loaded when the PC starts and checks for module updates.
I will not mention the IDS service, it is not important. Anyone can get this tool up and running. Starting VCM is a bit worse, especially when one turns it on after a long period of inactivity...

For this you still need a working Ford dealer account or even harder to find - an authorised AfterMarket Service account that was able to pass all the needed checks in order to be trusted so it can have access to PATS online module.

pats used to be done in etis dealerconnections website, but is not possible now for mk4.5 model. only with fjds and fdrs with account.
i am trying to use ucds with ids but i cant seem a way to do it. Some people got success with scanmatik 2 pro with renaming dlls, i tried same with ucds but ids don't work with it. I want to use ids as well, because fdrs and fjds not quite as good on older cars before 2013 year.
