Anyone ever used a clone, I know it's likley to be a piece or rubbish but if worked on the convers ipc it would do the job for me, I wish I could afford a genuine unit

Yes, not very stable, but can be used with Omap5912 (for FX / NX) or MAC7116 (Convers+).

But the Edu version of SEGGER J-LINK is not that expensive: https://uk.farnell.com/segger/8-08-90-j ... link%20edu

There is a keygen available for it on the net. For educational purposes, of course
I've bought a genuine Segger J-Link EDU, which only costs about 60€ and it's fully worth it. Don't waste money with that China clones..

Ah, yes, the EDU Mini is also a good tip, and so cheap that it makes no sense to buy a clone..,

What about these?
EDU Mini is too mini :)
You can't go to a more powerfull version.. whatever the unlocking codes you give it... as it is different hardware, with less processing power.
