I have on my bench one rebooting 8m2t-10849-uc (prefl).
You can view symptoms on attached video. Here is with ignition on form can hacker.
So what I try:
- reflow MAC
- check pins of LCX
- update eerprom with ipcupdate
- update main+flash with ipcupdate - original soft, mods..
- update main+flash with uc ds as bricked module
PCB has strong 4,970v on 5v line.
Any hints?

Check the 12volt On the ipc make certain thats constant they do have a habit of dryjoint on the input connection
If all ok and its only 5volt then it could be a lot of things causing the 5v to drop and it reboot
Can you read the current draw see if current goes up just before the volts drop.
Assuming its not power supply it could be a decoupling cap breaking down if you havea hairdryet try heating up parts also if you have a can of freezer
Temp change may help to find culprit, intermittent faults can be a pain..
What does make me think is the fact it stays on longer when cold as it gets warm it seems to trip quicker ..
Looking at the video you sent me it does look very much like something is pulling the V down
Anyone got a schematic for convers preface
