Hi there!!!
My name is Juan Pedro Hidalgo and I am new to the forum. Got here thanks to the excellent WiKi about Mk4 Mondeos that Go4IT has put together.
I own a 2011 S-Max and the main reason I am here is because, with the little time the kids let me, I am retrofitting some modules to it. So far I have done the ACC and I am about to finish the DAB.
In the future, if time allows, I might follow up with BLIS and backup camera (in that order, as the MCA in my car does not have video input and that one would require much more work).
I have a genuine ELM327 v2.2 adaptor with MS switch (plan to modify it to support MM-CAN as well) and a full version of Forscan (at least till November next year).
I am engineer as day job. I can understand and write small pieces of code in C/C++, I am fair in Python and pretty good ni VIsual Basic (Excel, Excel, Excel...). It has been a looooong while, but I also did some x86 and MSP430 assembly at the time and I used IDA once to extract the ignition timing and fuel injection tables on a Magneti Marelli ECU from a Ducati (which if the memory does not betray me, uses a STM32 MCU).
