Anybody got any success at that?
I mean the basic module not with navigation, I know it won't work direct, but want to try make it work. Does the climate talks to facelift BCM in another way or is same as prefl?

I will receive one FL module soon and will see what firm is inside and compare to prefl.

As far as i know some wires need to be changed and A/C will not work.
All info is appreciated, this module on CAN or LIN? Should be on MS-can for A/C on, or i am wrong?

They share the same pinout, just that the FL one can have more sensors.
You can also flash one FW to another and it will work (they share the same Motorola MCU - I did it by BCD port) - at least those for the NX version, that don't have any screen / buttons.
What will not work is the command for A/C.
It is on MS CAN and the BCMII acts as a GW to send the command on HS CAN for PCM.

So then the FL one sends different command from the A/C on button?

Search over Internet by their P/N to see what they are for / what type they are.

Besides this, the FL version uses a different interior temperature sensor, the one with a tiny motor placed on the steering wheel cover. PreFL uses the interior temperature sensor placed in the sunload sensor, so I assume they might differ in respect of the way they are read.

What I know is that it uses both sensors in FL setup.
I will try to sniff messages on A/C on from both modules and see, also measure resistance when AC is on on both to see if that will guide me to easy implementation

Do somebody has this calibration? I am searching for option to make hvac with MCA working correctly on auto mode i.e. - fan not increasing how it should be (on fl cars it starts low and goes high even if you keep temp at 22-23C for example) on prefl car with nav it is irratic... it stays at low fan values even in the car is very hot or very cold in order to increase fan speed u do manually or increase temp to max or min...
