How to clear crashdata on BCM?

Hey mates, anybody know how to do this? Can it be done with ForScan oder UCDS? Or by hardware?
Currently i do not know anything about it but only that in a case of a car crash (when airbags ingite) some routine will freeze the data inside the BCM so it can't be programmed, dtc-cleared or whatever. This for me is only a flag and may could be easily removed/changed?

In IDS you have a routine that you can access in order to remove crash data from BCMII and from RCM.
There seem to be some differences between PreFaceLift and FaceLift models. For PreFL, you need to go on separate routines but for FL you go only for one and it guides you for BCM and RCM also.

RCM can be cleared only if it is a small crash, and less than 5 of them.

ForScan and UCDS also have these routines.

You have UCDS, so it is not a problem for Mondeo to delete crash data from RCM and BCMii.
There are special functions for these modules in the settings when selecting a car model. Try looking at it ...
I've done it before and I'm fine.
But as described above the number is probably written to eeprom. It will not allow more than 5 times.
