Create own language packs

Hi folks,
why not start investigating how Convers+ software uses text in foreign languages and use this to create own ones?
I think of an editor software tool, or maybe a webservice (you know, i always want to put it as a webservice if possible
where people can edit their own translations. We could all learn from this...
So first thing would be to investiage how the Convers+ FW organizes text strings, which font it can use to display text and where the language is selected and choosen.

Still, it is not perfect and there are many translation errors. Somewhere I saw everything like "Tempomar"
But there are other misspellings in spelling and other words.
So everyone still adjusts it themselves ...
Just know the character set with punctuation. This is not a problem for Western European languages, and most of them are not interested. They have their language right in the menu. If someone needs to customize something, just change the text in the hex editor.
There is a lot of chaos with the hex editor and it takes days to rewrite the text!
Perhaps this is possible directly through the VBF tool, or other tools where I have seen similar .dll libraries ...

This is possible and I agree, I know how long it takes I did it! But that's right, the files and system that started up can't be stopped. It may not be shared, but it will still be shared. Whoever takes it in the region. The reality is unfortunately, whether you are about Motral, UCDS, or Windows that you use.
You are either registered only to protect your work or accept it. You can set up a system and download all files that have been published for public circulation. Whether this helps you is questionable. Many people can still copy you without knowing what they are doing outside this forum. At least enthusiasts come in here, hell rages outside ...

Hello, I am trying to create app for translating of convers strings hovewer I am having difficulties with the custom character set.
There is used some kind of custom ASCII table with all the special characters included in the 256 character set.
Most probably I am missing just few of the first characters like ě, č, ř.
Does anyone have the full ASCII table or knows how to get it? I have been digging in the firmware but all I have found is something that looks like ASCII table or just a part of it but I don't know how it is used.
Here is what I have so far:
Code: Select all

No one? I guess I will have to replace some string with missing bytes and see what will it look like in convers...
Hovewer
here is a link to the tool which is still in development and not all strings are showing there.
I have not tried uploading modified vbf to convers yet so use of the tool is at your own risk.

Looks promising. Very nice!
