various cartridges T470AHandle with a t470 angle cartridge ( pic above)
T245A handle and cartridge T210A handle and cartridge AM120A ajustable tweezers and AT420A ajustable tweezer
DR560A desoldering handle JTA Hot air unit these are the stations lower unit is the Hot air station with vacume pump and remote thermal JTSE/TESE
the Unit above is a DME 4 tool
then the vacume pump for desolder.

Way cool, old man! I'm really impressed and also envious of the tools you have at hand. Whish i could also spend about 3k€ for such equipment... I'm looking for the smaller set called "DDPE", with soldering iron and tweezer, which also costs about 1k€.
You're right, this is something you only buy once in your life. Well, my Weller WECP-20 is almost also 30 years old.
JBC stations are also good second hand, but nearly nobody sells them, think why?

The DDPE unit is a brillient value station it has the same tweezers and small iron I have,, I think once you have tried them it would be very difficult
To got back to the old school, irons, saying that like you I have several old Weller irons again 30 plus years old which I still use for valve amplifier work
And a 60watt Weller for soldering chassis connections on some of the 1960’s vintage amps.
I only started with Surface mount when I ment up with you and this forum which will soon be a year old, I think it was my first NX that got us talking
And starting the forum, time goes buy so fast. Lol...

You're so damned right, buddy... the older one get, the less time one have.

I use these tools
Hotair : YH 852D+
Solder : Kemot ZD
DC : QW MS305D
Scope : Omegon Digi Star .

nothing sophisticated ... but still, for my needs these tools fit's perfect.

the only negative is Kemot iron holder - When it is hot (400+) - the smell of it is so ...- heavy,. Before I used also a heater with vacum disolder but copper and "flat" iron ending makes the job easier for me.

Maybe a hotbed like the ones that are used by 3D printers? They work at 12V /24V so it is easy to build a controller for them and they are very cheap. The downside is that it can take 10-20 minutes for them to heat up to 100C, they don't dissipate too much heat and usually are smaller than 30x30cm.

Yes I use a old PRUSA 3D hot bead it is slow but I have built it in a frame to keep heat in it does work
