I mainly joined this group to learn, I wish I learned more about coding ect when I was younger, I love to see how things work and this is something I want to learn I find coding ect quite tricky but I'm getting there bit by bit, and learning new things every day, I'm doing my bit to try work on logo but I dont want to share this information where every one can see it because it will just get abused, I recently was blackmailed via a member on this forum into giving him all my files and information I will not post names but if admin want tho know who it was please inbox me I do have proof to back this up, and he one of the reasons i dont want to share my work or information

Files will be shared anyways, regardless on the security we are trying to add. This forum has got unwanted attention because the way the files are shared. We don't want this kind of attention, right?
That kind of attention is, in my opinion: "hey, how I just bought an ELM and it does not work" or "hey, how do you reset the mileage on my Mk2 Focus Estate, I have a customer tomorrow". For this there are many places on the interwebs, and these places will always exist.

Having a screening area on which we can monitor ... people is maybe not the best thing in the world as someone might end up there, see that the overall level is low, go away and never come back because he can't really see all the good stuff you guys are sharing. And the good stuff is linked with the knowledge and ideas and those are actually the vectors for a nice community.

That is why I think we can "screen" people asking one, a couple questions before, maybe some trick question on which Google is not very obvious. And if they manage to find the answers on Google, that maybe means they are willing to learn, in the end.

I see that most people are only here for the money. I've shared files with crack - so far only DGalexandru discovered what I did with the files - and how I bypassed security. Others can't calculate the 2-bit algorithm to generate VIN - I turned this algorithm off completely in my file - This is for me confirmation that so far dg alexandru is on the same technical level as me, he passed my test and I consider him a full member. the rest just want to use the forum knowledge for their own purposes giving nothing back. They are bragging about what they didn't do, and really without the software they downloaded here they wouldn't do anything.

Btw, I'm still looking for source code for conversHAcker - or exe file itself. please share

paxtonix, what you say may be true for this special Convers+ part, but nothing more. To imply that only DGalexandru could keep up with you and therefore enlighten to play a role here is not true. For me, i also didn't work with your file and also did not solve your riddle, but not because i'm too dumb but because it was of no interest for me. So does this mean in your perspective that i am also not good enough to communicate with you?

I could turn this around at will, just head over to my special area, the navigation systems. I bet i can ask you questions you will never know and never be able to do if i don't tell you

My point is: isn't it completly normal that nobody knows everything? And isn't this the reason you all join here? Some for fun, some for knowledge, some for money. Well, i guess this is the way it is. And if somebody is not willing to share some information, he wouldn't do, regardless of what somebody else offers or threating him.

The more i get into the discussion the more i see that it would be better to keep everything like it is. If there is information or files which could not be shared because of violating somebodys rights it is regardless of if this is done in public or in a smaller member group. You see, that there are also disputes inside this group, and we're currently only a handfull active people here.

I don't think there is anyone on this forum that won't benefit somehow, in a commercial way, from the knowledge it can get "for free" that is shared between us.
Some of us might find solutions to do things more easily for our commercial activities and others will find how to modify their car modules in order to have new / nice / usefull features for free - so, again, this is commercial related, because they won't pay for it Of course, if the later ones do develop skills they can also "help" others for a small fee to have this "goods" too... after all, the tools needed (OBD adapter, JTAG, and so on) for this modification are not free... and nor is their time.
The only problem that might arise from this is to have someone new step in the "territory" of another guy who is also on this forum and is sharing its hard work in finding these things and take from its clients.

Why should I not make from my cm mod files I have been doing this before this forum was created, I won't get into arguments about this but like I told you I found the vin bypass a long time ago so please don't try imply only DG Alexandru can keep up with you, no one knows everything so dont try put others down people are here to learn new things that's how we build our knowledge, hope to get this sorted with you I have inboxed you with some help
