Today I applied the real TPMS patch (had to use ELM327 as ELS27 was not working, both china) I got from amplified (thanks) and after changing option in CCC with Forscan to "TPMS with WBL" it worked right away.
Thanks for help

Told you you needed the tpms patch mate
How did you bypass the vin on the Elmloader

Bypassing VIN can be as easy as changing it in CCC for the time you write the patch

I did not
amplified sent it to me already patched for my VIN

Hello, after some time I have checked the car through Forscan and I have found these DTCs:
C1A57 - Left Front Initiator
C1A59 - Right Front Initiator
C1A61 - Left Rear Initiator
C1A63 - Right Rear Initiator
C1D18 - Wheel Localisation Failed
Is this normal or I did something wrong?
The TPMS is working and showing the pressures correctly, assignment of wheels also works.
One time when I was driving a false alarm appeared to check a wheel but everything was ok and since then it behaves ok.
Sometimes when I turn ignition on to 2nd position (convers on) I see a warning message to check a wheel but it is only a fraction of second and immediately disappears without any sound.

I am about to install TPMS antennas to my car and I would like to know if there is a possibility to revert the applied TPMS patch.
Of course I will reflash Convers to FW without the custom TPMS assignment but I was wondering what about the patch alone? What does it even do in the first place?

Some time ago I tried to add TPMS patch to a custom Convers+ FirmWare, but I couldn't figure it out at that time where it had maybe a second security process for anti-cloning
and because it was too time consuming I abandoned the project.
The patch itself has may doubled functions (one is the original from IPC FW and one written for the Patch), couldn't find yet a reason for this kind of implementation... maybe it was easier this way, to have a complete different code instead of modifying the existing one.
The main difference between OEM and Patch in terms of functionality is the way it detects where the sensors are. In Patch version you have to assign them manually, because there are no available antennas that can detect where it was the strongest signal when that CAN message was sent - the sensors don't send the signal every time when the wheel spins so usually there are no two sensors sending their message at the same time. Another explanation is that the sensor won't send by itself any signal if the pressure doesn't change much and the antennas are actually sending a low intensity signal to each wheel in order to say to that sensor that it has to send its status.
The frequency is 433Mhz - the same as the remote control - and the signal is captured using the same remote receiver as the one for remote control... so this is why it was possible to have a Patch, as the extra antennas aren't for reading the sensors status but only for detecting their position.

As far as I'm aware the patch also edits something in the eeprom also with out this tpms won't work

I know about what's needed in EEPROM.
I used IPC Updater to dump Main + External Flash and EEPROM then flashed with them other IPC. I tryed it on bench, with original VIN emulated but it reboots as soon as I access any TPMS related menu.
MAC7716 also has a Data Flash region that I didn't dump.. here I think that this version of FirmWare looks for something...
