i think i can only brick the clone if i use the 2.xxx software because the internet on the 1.26 is turned off... is that true or i can brick both lol

Yes, mainly you can only brick the clone one if you try to use it with newer versions of software.
I don't know of any "Internet off" feature for 1.26 version. If you are connected to Internet and run 1.26 it will tell you that there is a newer version, it will try to download the calibration files that it misses.. so it isn't "offline".

i have stopped the ucds.exe on the clone with firewall rule - no in or out packages - that's what i mean.
plus stopped it from checking for updates

I tried my old clone after reading thread mine didn’t try to update ,, I must say I don’t use it much I only got it to see if it could be hacked ,,
But it’s not looking very hopeful
