The Key-ID sent over Radio Frequency is stored in BCMII only if that Mondeo 4 doesn't have KeyLess Go / Entry feature.
If it has KVM/RFA module, then BCMII (CJB in the attached document) acts only as a "short circuit" for K-line of the Remote Receiver (3PL56 - below "Stop Lamp Switch" in the attached document) which is placed in the "headliner" (above of the central mirror).
In a KeyLess Mondeo 4, the Transponder ID is read only by the KVM / RFA module (not as I said in my previous post, that it is read by BCMII), because the Transponder Receiver (PATS Module in the attached document) that is placed in the steering column is connected to KVM / RFA and not to BCMII (as in non KeyLess Mondeo 4)
BTW: ESCL - the column lock mechanism - is identified as 2LS42 and wrongly named as "Steering Wheel Module" in the attached document.... just to make things even more harder to understand.

Re: RFA 7S7T-19G481-CA
I have done this with two -CA modules now; but i did it through UCDS and programmed the module before changing the one in my car to it, so I had to code to the immobiliser after that. I haven't tried coding it whilst in the car as it is easier if it goes wrong
in UCDS the upgrade wizard does not show any calibrations above CA for the CA module - but I had a CB module and that shows upto CE calibration - I simply tried programming these to the CA module in VBF loader and its worked perfectly on both occasions.
I was worried that the newer calibration might change the algorithm the RFA used to code keys etc to the newer ones when i programmed to CE calibration, but it didn't.
