No ,he didn't find It In this thread he admitted to be "ex Conversomd.de Partner". Also ask me on PM where the Vin is hidden in files after sharing software in this topic - pretty sure he have so called "VIN calculator" for it.

To be honest - GWE89 claim to be in possesion of full C+ mod , but he is not sharing it, just trying his way to make some money in UK Forums from it - that's all. Other things he asked me many times , also on Ursadon IPCupdate topic - about IDA and location of picture in eeprom

If he had it cracked so long ago -as you said , he know exacly how to change it and where it is located - meanwhile he asked about IDA ( how he crack it not kowing what IDA is ? )

Turns out nothing of that matters now. Soft is public ,anyone can have it and do what he want with it. Im still looking for additional full software to crack it open for all of us to use - But I think I will not get it here - so I'll use onther strategy like I did on polish forums

Okay so just because I wont share them means I have not cracked it, I did not need ida to find the vin bypass like I mentioned before I'm an ex conversmod partner files was to my hand I used to compare spent weeks with it and boom I found the vin bypass!

Why should I share, i sell for a lot less than conversmod do what's the harm in me trying to earn a few bucks??

I really dislike this attitude - there really is no need to ridicule people! This is meant to be a friendly forum!

I simply stated that gwe89 had managed to hack the vin protection before this was released in response to tasicky's comment. I know how he did it and i know when he did it. He may not have reverse engineered the code like you have but he has spent many hours trying to find what was different between a dump with no vin protection he obtained (NOT YOURS) and one with. This is why he hasn't worked out how to change images yet.

Yes he is an ex-conversmod partner - he left because of being screwed over. And yes he has got full mods, but if he does not want to share it why should he? as for making money on the mods, again why not - people have to make a living! While we may be confident installing this sort of thing - 90% of the people who want this mod barely know how to use a computer, let alone plugs it into a car and do what we do. if you look through the forum threads you will find that he has also shared other things on here. I have asked for help to write code on here as well and have released it - but i don't release everything! I have another post on here asking about logging canbus messages and interpreting them; I have a gateway box and hex code for it that does this, but i want to work it out myself - is that wrong too?!

It is completely up to you what you believe and I have no reason to justify my comments to anyone - but i don't like people making accusations that are wrong, and then ridiculing people when they try to set the record straight.

Coded VIN is in vbf file in offset D59EE and D59F6 in basic mode (park assist...)
If have digital speed,battery voltage... coded vin is same in basic mode (D59EE , D59F6) and D5B40,D5B48 (D59EE and D5B40 is same byte, D59F6 and D5B48 is the same byte).

If is S-max (WF0S...) is in offset D59EF,D5B41 byte "D1" , D59F0,D5B42 byte "06"
If is Mondeo (WF0E..., or WF0G...) is in offset D59EF,D5B41 byte "00" , D59F0,D5B42 same byte "00".
