Hello good people,
I am living in Norway and recently bought a car with convers (mondeo mk4) and immediately started to hack
My profession is molecular biology and software development. During my free time I hack everything I can, from drones, through 3D printers to brewing controllers. Cars are my new thing now so I still have to learn a lot.
I hope I can help you to develop some new tools maybe and reverse engineer some stuff. As I have a lot of knowledge to catch up I will be mostly just reading and trying for some time. I hope not to annoy you with newbie questions.
I have bought UCDS clone and ELS27 and already done some reading and configuration.
Hello all!
Re: Hello all!
Welcome!
What happens when you hack a brewing controller?
For me personally, i am very interested in learning how to use IDA Pro (or Ghidra) to reverse engineer proprietary firmware, like satnav units or speedos.

Re: Hello all!
oh well, I do not "hack" existing controllers but we have built new one, our own based on some principles we got from previous devices and improved it
