Will need some time to get familar with it, and find the pins needed for BDM on the PCB and the XPROG, but then i hopefully can rip-off the firmware. What surprises me is that the vendors did not protect their chips against reading from debug-ports. It is a trivial task to do... strange, eh? Even more because no vender ever expect that somebody needs to read firmware but simply overwrite it. If you have it all by hand, it's shurely the best and simplest way to do...

There is not much to describe, it's basic knowledge of CAN Bus. Each side of the two CAN Lines (CAN HIGH and CAN LOW) must be shorted by a 120 ohm resistor. This is called "termination". It will eliminate electrical reflections in the wire and the bus will not work without it.

In a car, those resistors are built in into the modules "spreading" the bus, for the Mondeo those are BCM, PCM and IPC https://mk4-wiki.denkdose.de/artikel/ca ... _im_mondeo
