You can put one example the command to write in c?

In Visual Basic I try with vbcr and vbcrlf and Haagen same result. Or I need write string without space?

I'm using Qt framework, so it looks like:

Code: Select all

serial->write(QString("STBR%1\r").arg(baud).toLocal8Bit()); // Set baudrate
After sending a command, you must wait for response ('>' character). If you send another command before ELM reply, you will get such an error

Thank you for your attention to this project! :)
There is currently a non-public alpha version 2.0 with a new graphical interface and minor bug fixes.
The main functionality was achieved earlier, but I still don’t know what additional functionality the end user needs.

Therefore, so far I decided to start another project - decompilation of the firmware.

I think I speak for the ipc updater software as been one of my single most used tools, so I thank you for the work,
It would be great to take it further but appreciate you have other projects, decompiling firmware is always good,
Keep us posted

Maybe is a offtopic, but when I update with ipcupdate I don’t have pdc indicators. So I need to update now PAM module. Did anyone know how?

Yes, in some rare cases on preFL cars you need to update the PAM firmware to one that transmits can data from sensors.

If the PAM has old software or there is another type of radio, eg. Android, there may be a problem displaying an image or sound.
The prefacelift PAM module has its own buzzer, Facelift goes to the speakers ...

You can do this in different ways:
- I think you don't have UCDS, VCM2, IDS, otherwise you wouldn't ask and it's one way to update the unit and specifically the PAM module ...
- The second is a test version of Forscan Beta, which also includes module updates. Currently the developer has downloaded versions and does not provide updates for fatal beta testing bugs ...
However, getting the old version is not a problem.
However, keep in mind that there may be a problem. Recently, the forum addressed the recovery of the PAM unit after poor updates.
Although I updated about 15 pieces, there was no problem.
