Hi There

Post by getsome »

I´m a 41 year old electronics engineer that works with root cause analysis at one of the biggest electronic companies in my Sweden , I hope that my knowledge in electronics will help someone here , I have also been a huge fan of Ford cars since 1998.

Be very welcome to our small (but growing) community here! As i am also adicted to electronics (even i'm not an engineer) i guess we have some commons :)

Are there any special interests of yours? Any projects?

Hi.
The only project for the car is in idle right now , but I had plans to try to build some kind of a translator with elm327 and arduino to see the soot % and dpf % loadings on my IPC , or atleast to make a dpf symbol appear during a regen.
Other non relating project I built in the past is an Arduino controller for my wood burning Furnace to optimize the wood burning / gasification process in an optimal rate , this unit basically measured the exhaust temp by the means of a K Type thermocoupler , this information was then used to control primary and secondary air inlet valves with stepper motors so nothing really to do with cars :)

My passion are Ford navigation systems, especially the FX, NX and MCA. Did a lot with them, and publish a lot of information and repairs. I also run a wiki dedicated to Ford Mondeo. Besides electronics, microcontrollers and programming is another passion of mine.

Might be I will need your help with Haldex controler in my Mondeo mk4 AWD project. As you are from SE - those are very popular there. Do you have any knowledge about that system ?

Nope. In not from UK. I saw also on FB some post from UK over converting 2.5 turbo silver sedan to AWD. But the point is parts on foto , that are presented are not the right one for EUDC platform, so that guy will never finish that project.
