But you can use the function for only one VIN!
The first one you use it for!
.. but then again.. you can change the VIN on the new car before using it .. then change the VIN back to the original one.

Re: Read and write mileage from IPC (EEPROM)
Backup your EEPROM, set it to 999.999 then drive the car and see what happens
.
If it goes to 000 then try to modify it by OBD with tools than can only increase the mileage.
I've heard discussions about other Ford IC that remained at 999.999.

Re: Clone Mondeo MK4 BCM
Well... not exactly... In the Data space most probabbly is also at least some part of the IMMO algorithm. In RKE / KeyLess Module this is the case - the firmware update files are the same for old (7S7T-xxx-C* or D*) and new Incode/Outcode, but on the newer models - those after 08.2010 - the CPU is l...

Re: Difference of Focus/Kuga and Mondeo/S-Max/Galaxy satnavs
UCDS is only for Sony. I used it many times for firmware update and some for Mondeo / Focus swap.
On FX I remember of doing the swap only by flashing the 509 sector (where the PIN is) and then a firmware flash.

Re: Clone Mondeo MK4 BCM
You have experience with IDA .. why don't you try to understand the BootLoader that is sent by CAN and see if you can use it to dump its contents over CAN (OBD)? We have it for IPC, other free and paid tools are able to do it for PCM.. maybe the BCMII has it also. Unfortunately Ursadon never gave me...

Anyone from Serbia (Belgrad) here?
Hi, On my way to Belgrad, from Romania, I hit a dog on highway, now my bumper is damaged. Found some serbian sites with second hand auto parts, but maybe if we have someone from Serbia on this forum, I can get more options to find a bumper. Car: Ford Focus 2 Cabrio from 2007 2 days later edit: didn'...

Re: ACM Sony CDX
With UCDS you can restore it as the bootloader is still there... if the bad flashing was done by OBD... You just need to apply power to it after 1-2sec of the message to put contact on acc position.

FLASH, EEPROM and RAM dump from a FF2 / Kuga KVM (this one is paired only with PCM and Electrical Steering Column Lock) As you can see, the KEY ID's are saved unencrypted in EEPROM, the same as they are in the EEPROM of FF2 IC. The RAM contents can't be saved with USBDM in only one file, you need 4-...
