AutoPAM mod is simple - it changes the CAN ID the PAM module listens for, so BCM doesn't communicate directly with it - hence why you have to have the gateway connected to interpret the BCM original CAN ID messages - and override when autopam is engaged

@Go4IT I found i was unable to communicate with the DAB module using MM-CAN through UCDS; Gwe89 also found the same....?

I would be vary wary of doing anything over the MM-CAN bus - I killed a DAB module trying to update through UCDS and had to recover on the bench; I think because there is no direct connection to MM-CAN, only via IPC?

interesting find - i long suspected he hadn't done this himself, just like the dpf indicator.

so does the UK/EU convers+ have the same 4MB flash and so be able to flash the chinese software; or did they add larger flash?
